Rowing Camps

Summer Camps 2022

NOTE ON August 11: All our spaces this summer are now fully booked. Please follow us on social media to be the first to know that registration has opened for our October half-term rowing camp! If you have questions, please contact ccbcsummercamp@gmail.com.

CCBC run Summer, October Mid-term, and Easter rowing camps for young people ages 11 to 17. The camps are great fun and are a fantastic introduction to all facets of rowing, from safety to technique and of course, fun! Our camps are the entry point to our club for new rowers.

Swimming competency is required and rowers must be 11 years old by the start of their camp week to participate.*

Camp runs Monday through Friday from 11am to 2pm, even on bank holidays. Rowers are asked to bring a full change of clothes, a pair of swimming togs & towel, sun cream, hat, a snack, and plenty of fluids to drink. Parents and rowers will be asked to sign an insurance form and code of conduct, these are emailed in the days leading up to the camp start.

If you have questions please email CCBCsummercamp [at] gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you to Castleconnell Boat Club!

*Please note that the 11 year old threshold is an insurance requirement. If your child is not 11 years old by the first day of camp, we will look forward to welcoming them when they are!
